HUMEN and its mission to improve the male mental health

HUMEN is leading a global movement to improve and maintain men’s mental health through The HUMEN Space. The HUMEN Space is the Gym For Your Mind which consists of anonymous and non-clinical spaces across the globe for men to talk, listen and connect on a regular basis. HUMEN is striving to change the narrative until a prevention approach over a crisis response is the norm, not the exception.

HUMEN is changing the face of what it means to be a man. Providing an accessible solution to prevent men from suffering in silence and dying too young.

You are human. I am human. We are HUMEN.

Reflecting on a successful 2023, HUMEN couldn’t have achieved these milestones without your unwavering support. From unveiling our ‘Closing In‘ Campaign live in central London to introducing our HUMEN Space 1:1, providing their beneficiaries with three months of complimentary therapy, the year has been filled with impactful initiatives.

HUMEN has also collaborated with Ted Baker to launch a line of underwear, renewed their partnership with Wellman, and proudly supported ‘The Son’, a compelling film featuring Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern. These highlights offer just a glimpse into the dynamic developments at HUMEN throughout the year!

In partnership with Ted Baker, HUMEN has crafted a line of underwear designed to embrace body positivity and instill confidence in men of all sizes and styles. Beyond fashion, they’ve delved into the day-to-day experiences of five inspiring men, exploring their perspectives on life’s nuances—all while donning nothing but our new, comfortable boxers and briefs. This project is a celebration of similarities, a spotlight on differences, and an invitation for you to witness the journey towards self-acceptance.

CELEBRATING DIFFERENCES

When Dan took his t-shirt off in public for the first time after his amputation, a compliment from a stranger, commending him for owning his differences and for not caring what other people think, gave a new found confidence and outlook on himself.

Confidence comes individually to each of us. Kas says: “I feel the most alive when I’m boxing. Everything slows down and you get to experience things at a different pace.” Meanwhile Max says: “Looking in the mirror and seeing my body exactly how I want to see it (post top surgery) brings me joy because that hasn’t always been the case.”
